Resizing an image in FrontPage

1. Find the image that you would like to resize. Copy and paste it into this document.

2. Place it next to the template photo

3. Click on the image to select it.
4. Four corners will show on the box. Drag on of the corners diagonally to resize the image to the desired size.

5. Now you will need to crop the photo to make it 1 in X 1 in.
Select the photo then select the cropping tool in the toolbar.
Drag the edge of the crop selection to be as close to 1 X 1 as you can.

6. When you have dragged the crop box to the desired size, hit enter, then click on the crop icon again to complete the operation.

7. Now you are ready to resample the image. When you take a large image and shrink it, the file size stays the same. The resample tool reduces the file size of the image.
Click on the image to select it.
Hit the resample icon in the toolbar.
Watch your file size change on the bottom right of your screen.


8. Now save this document. A screen will pop up in FrontPage asking you if you would like to save the images that you used. Click ok.


9. Copy and paste the image into the document that you would like it to be used in.
Select the image. Go to Edit > Copy.
Go to the new document window of the place where you want the image to be. Put your pointer where you would like the image to be inserted and go to Edit > Paste.
Now save this document. A screen will pop up in FrontPage asking you if you would like to save the images that you used. Click ok.
