Rural Roots mission is to create healthy, vibrant, and sustainable community-based food systems in the Inland Northwest. As a regional non-profit organization, Rural Roots works to increase community members’ ability to engage in sustainable small acreage production for home and market. We understand that local food and agriculture contributes to our sense of community and is integral to our quality of life and economic prosperity. We recognize the importance of developing local markets, creating opportunities for value-added products and increasing understanding about the importance and potential of local food and agriculture.
