Growth stage pictures of Merit 2-row Barley and Whitebird Soft White Spring Wheat for the week of 6/28/99.

 

This week the wheat is in the flowering stage whereas the barley has completed flowering.  The barley is just starting to develop its kernels.

Growing degree days for week of 6/21 - 6/27 = 213.5
Accumulated growing degree days (emergence to 6/27) = 1577
