These images are from the Aug. 4, 2005, open house and dedication of the
Nancy M. Cummings Research, Extension and Education Center operated by the
University of Idaho. The center was established on the former Hot Springs
Ranch six miles north of Salmon through the generosity of the Auen
Foundation of Palm Desert, Calif. The center honors the late Nancy M.
Cummings, who loved the Salmon River Valley and wanted its people to enjoy
educational opportunities provided by the University of Idaho.
