Reward Landscape and Aquatic Herbicide (diquat)

Eurasian Watermilfoil, other submerged weeds

Reward Landscape and Aquatic Herbicide is labeled for use at rates up to 2 gallons per surface acre, based on a maximum depth of 4 feet. This or 24 C, or Special Local Needs (SLN), label allows for higher rates per surface acre, which may be required to obtain control for submersed weeds found deeper than 4 feet. Check the label for exact rates (which are dependent on water depth) and for the water use restrictions following application to surface waters with this herbicide.

Maximum of one application per year. Do not harvest until at least 14 days after application. This pesticide does not have an established pesticide residue tolerance for this crop. Consequently, no portion

of this seed crop may be used or distributed for food or feed. This restriction pertains to, but is not limited to: green chop, hay, pellets, meal, whole seed, cracked seed, straw, roots, bulbs, foliage or seed screenings, and to the grazing of the crop field, stubble or re-growth. All seed screenings should be disposed of in such a manner that the screenings cannot be distributed or used for food or feed purposes.

No more than 2 applications can be made per crop year. A maximum of 2.8 ounces per acre can be applied per application, and a maximum of  5.6 ounces per acre can be applied per season. Allow a minimum of 7 days between applications. Do not cut current year's treated Alfalfa Seed crop for hay or forage. Do not graze current year's treated Alfalfa Seed crop. Rotational crops may be planted no sooner than 30 days after last application. No portion of this seed crop may be used or distributed for food or feed.

Lygus Bugs

Not to be applied through any type of irrigation system. Begin application when treatment thresholds have been reached. Use the high rate under heavy insect pressure and for longer residual control. Do not apply ASSAIL 70 WP while bees are actively visiting the treated area. This pesticide does not have an established pesticide residue tolerance for this crop. Consequently, no portion

of this seed crop may be used or distributed for food or feed. This restriction pertains to, but is not limited to: green chop, hay, pellets, meal, whole seed, cracked seed, straw, roots, bulbs, foliage or seed screenings, and to the grazing of the crop field, stubble or re-growth. All seed screenings should be disposed of in such a manner that the screenings cannot be distributed or used for food or feed purposes.

 

Supracide 2E (methidathion)

This is a revision of a previous 24c label, SLN #ID-000005. Label changes include the addition of language to the Restricted Use Pesticide (RUP) box, the addition of language under the ingredients statement to identify that the product contains petroleum distillates, revisions to the First Aid section, Precautionary statement, and the WPS information.

 

Brigade 2EC (bifenthrin)

This 24c label is very similar to the existing one for Capture 2 EC. Capture 2 EC will no longer be manufactured or distributed; Brigade 2 EC will replace it in the marketplace. Once existing stocks of Capture 2EC are exhausted, the 24c label for Brigade 2EC will replace the one for Capture 2EC. Do not apply more than 6.4 ounces active ingredient per acre per application, or more than 19.2 ounces active ingredient per acre per season. Do not make more than 3 applications in a crop year and maintain a minimum of 21 days between applications. Changes in the new label include: a plant-back restriction of 30 days for all crops, and prohibitions regarding buffer zones around aquatic areas. Do not cut current year's treated alfalfa or clover seed crop for hay or forage. Do not graze current year's treated alfalfa or clover seed crop.

Label changes include the addition of new language in the Restricted Use Pesticide (RUP) box and the addition of language under the ingredient statement to identify that the product has 2 lbs of active ingredient per gallon and contains petroleum distillates.

This 24c label is very similar to the existing one for Capture 2 EC. Capture 2 EC will no longer be manufactured or distributed; Brigade 2 EC will replace it in the marketplace. Once existing stocks of Capture 2EC are exhausted, the 24c label for Brigade 2EC will replace the one for Capture 2EC. Changes in the new label include: chemigation is now allowed; a maximum of 3 applications per acre per crop year has been added, and prohibitions regarding buffer zones around aquatic areas have been added. Do not apply more than 6.4 ounces active ingredient per acre per application, or more than 19.2 ounces active ingredient per acre per season. Do not make more than 3 applications in a crop year and maintain a minimum of 21 days between applications. Rotational crops can be planted no sooner than 30 days after the last application. Do not cut current year's treated carrot seed crop for hay or forage. Do not graze current year's treated carrot seed crop.
