Microsoft Office Update
If you have Microsoft Update installed, you do not need to worry about Office Update. It will install Office updates automatically. If you do not have Microsoft Update installed and are using Windows Update, you need to download and install updates and patches for Microsoft Office products. 1. Open the Internet Explorer browser and point your browser to http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdate/default.aspx
Click on "Check for Updates."

2. Microsoft Office Update will scan your computer for necessary updates and software. This may take a few minutes depending on your computer's configuration.

3. After the scan is complete you will be directed to an Office Update detection results page. If your Office products are up-to-date (shown below), you will not see available updates. If your Office products are not up-to-date, click the "Agree and Install" button. Your updates will then be downloaded and installed. You may need to restart your computer after installing updates. Follow the onscreen directions.
