Norton AntiVirus Automatic Updates
For extra security and protection, automatically schedule updates with Norton AntiVirus. It will update virus definitions and antivirus software automatically to keep your PC safer.

1. Double click on the yellow Norton AntiVirus icon in the taskbar system tray. This will be located in the lower right corner of your screen (shown below). Alternatively, click Start > All Programs > Symantec > Norton AntiVirus.
2. When Norton AntiVirus opens, you will see the main screen (click image for full view.) We recommend running LiveUpdate once to download available updates and virus definitions. Click the LiveUpdate icon on the top left of the Norton screen.
3. The LiveUpdate box will open and prompt you to download updates. Click Next and continue through the process. When LiveUpdate is finished, the screen will tell you "This product is up-to-date." Click Finish.
4. On the main Norton AntiVirus screen click the second icon on the top, "Options" and then "Norton AntiVirus." When the next box appears you can configure Automatic LiveUpdate to download updates for you. Make sure each box is checked to enable full protection of your PC.
5. Click OK. You will now be receiving automatic Norton AntiVirus updates.
