CCS Moscow maintains an FTP server for the convenience of personnel in the College of Agricultural & Life Sciences. FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol and refers to the process of connecting to another computer and downloading or uploading files. The server in CCS Moscow does not support anonymous connections. A special userid and password are required to access the information. The address is ftp://acs.ag.uidaho.edu. The userid and password are available from CCS.
The FTP site does not contain any commercial software that requires licensing. It does contain some updates to commercial software that is used extensively in the College of Agricultural & Life Sciences and are readily available from the vendors' web sites.
